New Families? It’s NOT too late to switch schools. ENROLL NOW!

Welcome American Academy Families,

We are honored to partner with you on the academic and social education of your child. We are only days away from the beginning of our school year. American Academy of Strategic Education teachers and staff have a fantastic year planned.

We are so excited to welcome our awesome new teachers!

Kidspot (K-1): Mrs. Medina

Bridge (2-3): Ms. Sarvari

Academy: Ms. Mabin

Spanish: Srta. Silva

We will be sending home a formal introduction of each teacher next week.

Strategic Educational Plan

We would like to meet with each parent to discuss the individual needs of your child(ren) and to create a customized, strategic educational plan for each child. Our goal is to front-load parents, students, teachers, and myself with a plan for your child’s educational journey. These strategic plans are fluid and can change throughout the year.  Please contact us if you have not received a sign-up sheet via email.

Our first “First Friday of the Month Field Trip”:

Plan to attend our upcoming Field Trip. All students and their families are invited to join our First Friday of the Moth field trip on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Laguna Beach Main Beach, near the playground at the south end of the beach behind Main Beach Clothing Outlet at 335 S Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. No need to RSVP for this particular field trip. We will relax in the sun or shade and play volleyball, chess, and checkers. BYO lunch, chess, checkers, balls, sand toys, towel, etc… Meet on the grass at 11. Stay as long as you like.

4th-8th grades: Google Classroom for and Student Email Addresses

Parents should become familiar with Google Classroom. You will be able to follow your child’s work progress and communicate with his/ her teacher on assignments. If you need to retrieve work samples, you will be able to do so at your convenience from your child’s account.

4th-8th grades: Set up Student Email Address

Please take a moment to set up your child’s student email account as soon as an invitation is sent to you. An activation invitation will be set to the parent’s email address that was used during the enrollment process. The invitation expires after 48 hours. Please open the email and set it up immediately, otherwise, please respond to the email invitation and request a new invitation.

4th-12th grades: Student Technology Agreement  Please take a moment to review along with your child, sign, and submit the academy’s Technology Agreement- online form addendum. This must be submitted before participation. More information is on this form.
